Summertime Chocolate Dessert 1 lb. bag Oreo cookies
1 stick (1/2 cup) melted margarine
2/3 cup semi-sweet morsels
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
1 1/2 cup (13 oz. can) evaporated milk
2 cup sugar 1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream Crush cookies & combine with melted margarine. Press into 9x13 inch greased pan & refrigerate. In a saucepan, melt the morsels & remaining margarine. Gradually add the milk & sugar & boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat & add vanilla. Cool for about 10-15 minutes. Slice & spread ice cream over crust. Pour cooled chocolate mixture over ice cream & freeze.
